Excursion: Riegersburg and Buschenschank

On July 13th, nearly 40 international employees of various CINT member companies participated in the excursion to the medieval castle Riegersburg.

It has been a long and joyful day: at 9:00 the bus left at the main station in Graz and arrived at the famous Riegersburg after one hour.

The view over the Styrian vulcan area after ascending by lift was already amazing, but the amazing bird of prey show will espacially stick in mind of all participants. Numerous birds – including Austria’s heraldic animal, a majestic golden eagle – flew across only centimeters above the heads of the entranced spectators.

After that much excitement, some participants cooled down with a drink in the castle’s restaurant while others discovered the exhibitions on their own before it was time for the descend. After following a beautiful footpath downhill and a walk through rich green pastures, the last destination for the day was reached: “Buschenschank” Bernhart.

A typical Styrian “Brettljause” made up a great finisch for a great day!
